Are you a CCNY student looking for career experience? We partner with various social enterprises, nonprofits, tech startups and innovative companies that are seeking CCNY students for internships during the Fall and Spring semesters. Limited placements are available for students looking to broaden their exposure to new fields, new ways of thinking, and career opportunities with the city’s most innovative organizations.

What’s the application process like?

  1. Click the link below to fill out the application, write a personal statement and submit your resume.
  2. Applications will be reviewed and applicants will be selected for interviews.
  3. If selected to interview, you’ll receive a list of available positions. You’ll be asked to pick your top choices.
  4. Remember, you must have 35-40 hours (not including travel time) open during the week to complete this internship!
  5. First round: select candidates interview with Zahn staff to determine eligibility.
  6. Second round: finalists will be matched with employers for interviews.
  7. Employers select hires. If not selected (since there are limited spots!), you will be automatically considered for future semesters.
  8. Interns are expected to participate in skill-building workshops throughout the semester, as well as an orientation in May and a finale event.

Requirements:

  1. Be a registered CCNY student
  2. Complete the application in its entirety and upload a resume
  3. While there’s no GPA requirement, we do look for well-rounded individuals who are passionate about working for social enterprises
  4. Keep the available positions confidential
  5. Have 15-20 hours (not including travel time) open during the week to complete this internship
  6. Uphold weekly meetings with our program manager, and attend periodic events
